The Forks High and Middle School Drama Clubs wish to thank the community for their overwhelming support for this year’s musical production, Rock Around the Block. Special thanks to those who donated items to make our set more authentic: Wilda Blankenship, Adria Furhman, Susan Dodel Shane, Kim Kearns, Dave Hahn, and Sully’s Drive In. We would also like to thank Decker City Hardware and Whitehead’s Auto Parts for sponsoring the show. The community pulled together to help support our students.

From School Board and Principal approvals to every person who attended one of our shows, we are forever grateful. We look forward to bringing to life The Wizard of Oz: Young Performer’s Edition next February (pending rights and approvals).

Directors Marni Whitehead and Kat Gingrich would like to give special recognition to FHS Senior and PC Running Start student Annika Leverington, who has participated and performed in four years of FHS productions (including Chicago, Legally Blonde, and Rock Around the Block) as well as many Missoula Children’s Theater productions.

She has blossomed as an actor and entertainer through her portrayal of various characters over the years. She is leaving the FHS stage for a bigger and brighter future. She plans to attend Arizona State University to study nursing. The FHS Drama Club will miss her invaluable contributions to our stage productions, but we hope she has a wonderful next chapter in her life.
