FHS Honors Five Valedictorians

This year at Forks High School we had a five-way tie for Valedictorian. Congratulations to the following students who have worked exceptionally hard for their 4.0 grade throughout their 4-year high school career!!

KENDALL MARSHALL

Student of Mike and Heidi Marshall

After High School, I will be attending Western Washington University to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. My plan is to teach Elementary in Washington.

I received the following awards: Principal Award, Student of Character, Varsity Cross Country and Track, Sportsmanship Award In High School, I was an active participant in cross country and track, I have been a National Honor Society member and Secretary. My senior year I participated in LINK Leadership.

GUNNER ROGERS

Student of Rob and Sarah Rogers

I will be attending the University of North Dakota. I will be pursuing a bachelor’s of science in commercial aviation. My career plan is to be an airline pilot. I received the following awards: Principal Award, Student of character, MVP baseball, all-league football. I participated in National Honor Society, future career and community leader of America, football, baseball, chess, link leader, and Student council.

NATE DAHLGREN

Student of Chad and Shannon Dahlgren

I plan to work in Alaska this summer fishing and join the Army when I get back. I received the following awards:

Principal awards, student of character, All-State linebacker, Academic state champ in wrestling, First-team all-league awards. I have participated in football, wrestling, and track.

KEIRA JOHNSON

I plan on attending Eastern Washington University and getting my bachelor’s degree in Health Science. Then I plan on attending Physical therapy school to get my doctorate. I have received the principal award, student of character award, and the Spartan Scholar Award. I have also received basketball MVP all-league award and many first team all-league awards along with breaking the FHS girls’ basketball scoring record. I was ASB President, in National Honor Society and FCCLA. I also was a 3 sport athlete playing softball, basketball, and soccer.

ROWEN BALL

Student of Corey Ball and Bob Ball

I plan to attend Arizona State University to pursue a degree in Air Traffic Control Management, with the ultimate goal of becoming a pilot.I have received the Principal’s Award, the Student of Character Award, @ College Board National Recognition Awards and a Spartan Scholar Award. I was President of the senior class, National Honor Society & FCCLA. I was also a member of LINK and the chess club, and worked 2 part-time jobs. In four years I gained over 150 hours of community service.
