Food Bank Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Photo by Christi Baron Customers, board members, volunteers, staff, and more gathered last Thursday to celebrate the Forks Community Food Bank with an official Forks Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting ceremony. The Food Bank also welcomed the community on that day to check out all the changes and improvements that have taken place. After extensive remodeling of the former Clothing Bank area, the facility expanded and now operates more like a market where clients get what they need/prefer and not pre-selected items. Holding the big scissors are Chamber Executive Director Lissy Andros and Sena Engeseth, Food Bank operations manager.
