Forks 4th gets new banners

For the first time in MANY years, we have Forks Old Fashioned 4th of July banners at both ends of town! Thanks to Laurel Black Design of PA for design work, Strait Signs of Sequim for building and printing the banners, and the Lloyd J. Allen Charitable Trust Fund for funding the project! And the City of Forks public works department for getting them up! A Forks Forum Facebook follower shared that High School Art Department teacher Ron Thompson, and students, created a 4th of July highway banner with canvas that the US Coast Guard Recruitment Center donated sometime in the late 1970s.
