Forks Community Hospital to Host Halloween Trick or Treat Event in its Extended Care Unit

Forks Community Hospital (FCH) is excited to announce its popular annual Halloween event scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 31, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. For several years, this event has continued to grow in popularity and in the hearts of the West End community.

FCH enthusiastically invites children, accompanied by a parent or guardian, to come in costume with a pail or basket to collect candy and enjoy trick-or-treating with the Extended Care Family. Those participating in the annual trick-or-treat event must enter the facility through the FCH Extended Care Entrance on 5th Avenue.

FCH Chief Executive Officer Heidi Anderson says, “This is such a special event for our West End community, and it reminds us that no matter what age or stage of life, we are all part of a bigger family and can create special memories together.”

FCH Extended Care is currently accepting wrapped candy donations. Anderson also notes, “Events like these could not be possible without the generosity and support of volunteers. We are grateful for those working behind the scenes and all the donors who gift candy to make our event a success.”

Community members who wish to donate wrapped candy for the festivities can drop off their donations at the FCH Administration Building 550 5th Avenue, weekdays from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Contact Dawn Harris at dawnh@forkshospital.org with questions.
