Bogachiel Clinic:

• Bogachiel Clinic is reviewing the purchase of a generator to keep the clinic open during power outages and provide care to the community.

• The clinic also is looking at purchasing separate refrigerator and freezer for improved temperature control for medications and vaccines.

• Dr. Allchin continues to receive good reviews and will stay.

• The clinic is continuing to work on reducing patient waiting times. Kudos to Joella as she was observed frequently checking on patients waiting in exam rooms if they needed a drink, warm blanket or anything else as they waited in the exam rooms.

KRONOS time system:

• The miscommunication with KRONOS is resolved. KRONOS will give FCH a $10,000 credit to make up for their oversight and the conversion process will resume after the holidays.

• KRONOS time system will allow employees to check their PTO or request days off from home, modernize the current system and improve employee satisfaction.

Portal Access:

• Information Services is continuing to work on the Patient Portal for patients to access their health records from our website. This is an ongoing process.

Rumor laid to rest: David Selman owns MedMan and was hiring from it.

• The actual owner of MedMan is Jim Trounsen.

• MedMan was first contacted by Camille Scott and John Sherritt to act in an advisory capacity

• The contract was originally let go by David Selman in a cost savings measure, but he brought MedMan back onboard in an effort to address the problems at the Bogachiel Clinic.
