The 5th Avenue Theatre Awards Honor High School Musicals. This year, the competitions evaluators saw 128 productions at many Western Washington schools.
FHS received Honorable Mentions in two categories for their production of Addams Family the Musical. According to one of the nominees, Emma Grayce Fleck, “Evaluators watched two performances, both at the high school, and graded/scored us during the entire performance. They scored us on the entryway, sets, acting, costuming and overall experience. We competed against any schools who decided to compete, including Kamiakin that has 1,000 students, a triple-A or larger school, so Forks got NO bonus points for having a rural town.”
So the competition was head to head!
Forks received an Honorable Mention for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble Cast and Emma Grayce received an Honorable Mention in a Featured Ensemble Role for her portrayal of Grandma.
The awards will be presented on June 3, 2019.
