The state Department of Licensing has announced the reopening of the Forks driver’s licensing office. The office is scheduled to reopen on Wednesday, April 20. The office is in a new location, inside the state Department of Social and Health Services office at 421 5th Ave., at the intersection of 5th Ave. and Bogachiel Way.

The office was closed in 2010 due to plumbing issues at its former location.

The office will be issuing licenses on Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., but closed from 1 to 2 p.m. each of those days.
