Forks Public schools are scheduled to open for the 2012-2013 school year on Thursday, Sept. 6.  The school band is scheduled to perform on opening day of school at 6 p.m. during a Back to School parade and Open House at the Spartan Stadium track.  

Here the Forks Middle School Jazz band performed for family members on Friday, Aug. 31 in the Forks Middle School band room after a week of four-hour-a-day practices under the direction of school music instructor Erika Rudnicki. In the future the band is to begin playing at selected Forks High School sporting events as well as at school concerts.
