Former Forks Forum Editor Chris Cook packed the house at the Forks Chamber of Commerce meeting last Wednesday. It was a mutual admiration society as he received a warm welcome from all that attended.

Although he did keep rubbing it in that he has been in Hawaii and California doing what he has always dreamed of doing, writing books and surfing. He displayed several of his works and showed how he cleverly inserted family photos in to each project.

Cook who worked as Forum editor for six years complimented the town on the fact that he still feels a close bond to all he met here unlike any place he has ever worked before. Cook is here for a while visiting a friend near Beaver and will return to his tough job of surfing and writing soon.
