Congratulations to Aliya Gillett of Forks who was crowned Clallam County Fair Queen for 2025 at the Clallam County Fair Royalty coronation held Saturday, Jan. 25, in the Exposition Building at the Clallam County Fairgrounds.
Gillett, the daughter of Craig and Tracy Gillett, is a senior at Forks High School and is enrolled in Peninsula College’s Running Start program. She is sponsored by Triple S. Contracting, LLC; Evergreen 76/Subway Forks; and Forks Elks Lodge #2524.
Gillett is active in drama club, cheer, track and field, and is a captain of the soccer team.
She is a member of the National Society of High School Scholars, High School National Honor Society, and Peninsula College National Honor Society and is involved in the associated student council at Peninsula College.
She has been accepted at Central Washington University in Ellensburg, where she plans to pursue a master’s degree and become a high school math teacher.
Her platform is the Forks Clothing Bank-Ginger’s Closet.
