Pastor Warren Johnson and the Congregation of the Forks Congregational Church are happy to share the date for the 89th Annual Harvest Dinner.

Please join us on Friday, Oct. 11, 2024, in conjunction with Heritage Days, at the Fellowship Hall from 4:30 -7 p.m.

This is an annual event with lots of traditions and stories to boot. Like the year the power went out and we had to scramble like crazy to get generators for lighting and hot drinks, serving turkey sandwiches, salads, and pie for the menu. Those attending loved the nuance and thought we should do it that way from now on.

The cost is kept down so everyone can attend. You get a full meal with dessert and drinks for ten bucks for adults, $6 for seniors, and children under 12 as well as a good time. I am always shocked when I hear people say that they have lived here for a long time and have never attended. Boy, you do not know what you are missing out on! Some good home cooking and a great time.

The proceeds from this dinner help out with the cost of nonprofit groups that meet at the church, which are many.
