Heritage Days at the RAC

It was fun viewing the displayed heirlooms at the Rainforest Arts Center on Saturday. Many locals brought in items once owned or used by their ancestors. Organizer Patsy Brown also assisted with helping folks learn to patch and darn and local spinners displayed their talents.

Later in the evening, some old-time music was enjoyed with Forkestra and a sing-a-long with Sally and Roger. Local humorist/columnist Pat Neal shared a faux movie script he had written depicting Edward, Bella and child living a different life with Edward struggling to keep a job …first as a logger, then a fishing guide …later a fisheries biologist, and then a bigfoot hunter.

This event was sponsored by the Rainforest Council For The Arts and the Mendful Program at Ginger’s Closet Forks Clothing Bank & Disaster Relief. Photos Christi Baron
