Arthur Wentworth came to the west end purchasing property in 1892, he even participated in the Klondike Gold Rush. He eventually returned to the area and married a local girl. The family residing on the Quillayute Prairie, this photo was taken in 1915. Many Homesteaders left the hardships, the Wentworths stayed, some descendants still live in the area.
