Interested in Learning about Septic Maintenance? Attend the Septics 101 class

A free 2.5-hour class will provide homeowners with an overview of the what, why & how of septic system maintenance. The Septics 101 class will be held at Dungeness River Audubon Center at Railroad Bridge Park, 2151 W. Hendrickson Road, Sequim, from 6-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28.

Pre-registration is required and available online at www.clallam.net/HHS/EnvironmentalHealth/onsitesepticregistration.html or by contacting Environmental Health at 360-417-2506. Register as soon as possible since class spaces are limited.

As an alternate to the class, there is an online Septic 101 version available on the Environmental Health website at www.clallam.net/Septics101.

Remember: Septics 101 (either the in-person class or online) is a prerequisite for Septics 201, the class that teaches you how to become certified to inspect your own septic system — Do-It-Yourself (DYI) Homeowner Training.
