June 12—Hwy 101 MP 189—At 1031 hours, Engine 91 was dispatched to Hwy 101 MP 189 for a vehicle vs. deer. Additional information was provided that the vehicle was off the roadway and there were injuries. When 901 arrived there was a vehicle off the roadway facing SB. There was air bag deployment and the vehicle sustained moderate damage. All occupants were out of the vehicle and a female was lying on the ground with injuries. All occupants of the vehicle were transported to the Forks Hospital by Forks Ambulance. Once all fire units were no longer needed they cleared and were available. 1 — Forks Station
June 23—Hwy 101 Mp. 180 HWY—At 1825 hours CCFPD#1 was dispatched to a mutual aid single motor vehicle accident with injuries reported at milepost 180 Highway 101. E91 and 901 responded code to the scene, upon arrival there was a single motor vehicle in the ditch on the northbound side of the highway with an adult female laying on her right side complaining of shoulder and back pain. Lt. Paul assumed command. Personnel from E91 placed road flares on the southbound lane and firefighters initiated traffic control. District Chief W. Paul and Lt. C. Paul assisted aid in packaging the patient and loading her into the ambulance. E91 personnel continued with traffic control after EMS transported the patient to a local hospital. CCFPD#1 continued to perform traffic control until Washington State Patrol released us from the scene. 1 — Forks Station
June 29—530 BOGACHIEL WAY—Authorized control burn. Recreational cooking fire. 1 — Forks Station
June 30—CALAWAH WAY—At approximately 1954 hours E91 was dispatched to a brush fire located in the area of Elk Corner Road. E91 responded with lights and sirens to the actual location on Calawah Way. Upon arrival Lt. Paul initiated command and gave a description of the incident to dispatch of a 15-foot by 20-foot fire located in the backyard of a home, and requested CCSO to respond to the location being the address was outside of Forks city limits and was in Clallam County. Lt. Paul instructed the firefighter on E91 to pull an attack line and extinguish the fire. The material being burned was a stump and some sort of wood stacked into a pile. The fire was extinguished and a written warning issued by CCSO. 1 — Forks Station
