La Push Road accident

Washington State Patrol reports that at about 10:51 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, a 2002 Nissan Quest mini-van driven by Adrianna Scott, age 20, of Forks was westbound on Hwy 110 at MP 1, when the vehicle experienced heavy hail on the roadway.

The vehicle entered a curve too fast and left the road and rolled twice. The driver and two other occupants, Gray Struznik, 33 of Forks and Dax Messett, 43 of Grants Pass were not injured. A fourth passenger in the vehicle,  Leslie Ajari Kazue,  28, of Tahoe City, CA, was injured and transported by aid vehicle to Forks Community Hospital.

It was reported that three of the occupants were not wearing seat belts and it was unknown if the fourth occupant was wearing a seatbelt. The vehicle was totaled and towed by West End Motors.

The cause of the accident was driving too fast for conditions and the driver was charged with speed too fast for conditions. Drugs or alcohol were not involved.

The accident report, provided by WSP, did not mention the fact that the vehicle was operated by Forks Taxi and the passengers were customers.
