Colorado visitor Linda Winkler was reunited with her missing 12-year-old Red Husky dog Harley on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 26.

On Tuesday Winkler sought help from the Forks Forum in getting the word out about Harley, who went missing on Saturday, Sept. 22 in the Dickey River area near Mora Campgrounds.

Forks Forum Advertising Representative helped out the Colorado visitor by posting the following message and a photo of Harley on her Facebook page. By late Wednesday morning the dog was spotted and held for Winkler to pick up.

"There is a lady visiting Forks, She has lost her Red Husky Dog. He has one blue eye, one Brown eye. About 70 lbs. She lost him Saturday the 22nd. Around Dickey River, She was Kyaking. He is wearing a red collar. Answers to Harley. Please call the Forks Forum if you see him or have him, please spread the word! The owner is here on a post-chemo rest and relax trip from fighting non Hotchkins Lymphoma all the way from Colorado. This is her way of fighting the blues and keeping her sanity while fighting this cancer battle. This trip was to see the National Forest and her brother in Spokane. Please help her to find her dog."
