Miracle Exhibit

A special exhibit of 136 miracles will be on display at St. Anne Parish Hall on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 3 p.m. – 9 p.m. and on Sunday, Oct. 20 from 9:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. These miracles are manifestations of Jesus’ Real Presence in the Eucharist.

Catholics believe as written in John 6:51-58, that Jesus gave us His Body as real food and His Blood as real drink. When we celebrate our Mass (Sending) the priest says Jesus’ words, “This is my Body” over the bread and “This is the chalice of My Blood” over the wine, it becomes truly present miraculously.

Normally, we still see what looks like bread and what looks like wine, but we believe that Jesus is present. Occasionally through our 2000 years of history, a second miracle happens where we see flesh and blood. This exhibit is a collection of these extraordinary happenings that teach us that God has kept His promise to be with us always, even to the ends of the earth.

These stories were collected by a 15-year-old boy named Carlo Acutis, who had a great love for Jesus and a talent for computers. Now known for miracles worked after his death, we call him “Blessed” Carlo. Soon he will be called “Saint” Carlo since a final miracle has been approved as authentic. His body lies intact (another miracle) in Assisi, Italy, after dying in 2006.

Come see this remarkable exhibit and consider the mysterious ways of the Lord. We pray in a special way for all the intentions of the people of Forks.
