Current Fire Status:
The 200 Line fire is 90% contained and firefighters are working to secure the remainder of the perimeter. Crews are using equipment such as excavators, brush engines, and water tenders to help contain this fire.
Southwest Washington Incident Management Team Status:
The Southwest Washington Incident Management Team will demobilize at 6 a.m.on July 23, 2015, from the Neah Bay 200 Line Fire. The Team will be transitioning to a smaller incident management team. There will continue to be the appropriate personnel and equipment working on mopping up the fire.
The Southwest West Washington Incident Management Team would like to thank the Makah Tribe for their help and hospitality. The team is able to demobilize due to the hard work from the Makah Tribe and Washington Department of Natural Resources. The support from tribe was invaluable to our operation and was integral to our success of keeping the fire to 41 acres.
Future information about this fire will come from the WADNR and the Makah Tribe.
