Forks Avenue Real Estate is under new management.
Erin Queen, who has been with the firm since 2008, took over the business last month from previous owner Kevin Favorite.
“He was looking to scale back and I was looking to grow a bit,” Queen said. “The timing just worked really well for both of us.”
And the swap kicked in at a boom time for Forks real estate, she said.
“It’s been a busy, busy year,” she said. “Interest rates are still really low and a lot of people are taking advantage of that.”
Existing Forks Avenue staff is staying on with Queen.
Agent Paul Pagac will continue to focus on home sales. Property manager Tammy Long will continue to manage the agency’s rental properties for a while before she too begins selling real estate.
Queen said the agency already has hired a new property manager who will be on board soon.
Forks Avenue and Lunsford & Associates continue to be the city’s real estate firms.
“It’s good for the people of Forks, I think, to have choices,” Queen said.
