Hey Forks Community!

There will be a Peace Poster play day for anyone who would like to help create posters on the theme of Peace for Ian Maksin’s Cello For Peace concert at the Rainforest Arts Center Sunday, May 21.

The workshop will be a drop in event at the RAC on Sunday, April 23 in the afternoon. Fifty poster boards with dove outline, acrylic paint, brushes, paper towels, and small containers for water and paper plates on which to mix paint will be provided.

You can do a collage, paint designs (Hearts? Flowers? Butterflies? Calligraphy?). Whatever makes you happy and represents peace to you. Can decorate the outside of the dove or doodle a design on the dove, or maybe even both? This will be fun! We can inspire one another. See you on the 23rd!
