The Annual Potato Dig/Seed Swap will be on Sunday, Sept. 19 from 2-4 p.m. at the Cowan Heritage Farm along the Hoko-Ozette Road.
Volunteers from the Clallam Bay Sekiu Lions and Friends of Hoko River State Park work on this sustainable agriculture project to maintain the gardens and grow produce and fruit each year.
They invite the public to dig potatoes for distribution to local groups and take a few home to eat and to plant.
Volunteers urge visitors to bring some seeds to share and swap with others.
Call 360-963-2442 for more information. Local county health regulations will be in effect.
