Planners of an expanded broadband system on the West End are asking the public to provide input on their Internet needs at an open house next week.

The Western Olympic Local Technology Planning Team will hold the open house from 12:30-2:30 p.m. this Thursday, Nov. 7, at the Olympic Natural Resources Center, 1455 S. Forks Ave.

Funded by a state Department of Commerce grant, the team is spending a year determining the needs for improved broadband access to the West End.
