Clallam County adults report higher rates than state and national averages of poor mental and physical health days according to Clallam County 2023 Community Health Status Assessment. To directly help individuals at no-cost to the public, the Clallam Resilience Project is sponsoring three 2025 Expand Your Toolbox Stress Management Workshops.
“Join us in learning about the science and strategies to better respond to life’s challenges,” explains Rachel Hardies, MA, LMHC, workshop presenter. Anyone from the public may register at www.clallamresilienceproject.org to join on Zoom and learn from one or all of the workshops:
Wednesday, Jan. 22, 12-12:45: Why do fidgets work? How movement helps.
Wednesday, Feb. 5, 12-12:45: Where is your attention?
Wednesday, Feb. 19, 12-12:45: What’s your mindset?
The on-line workshops will be hosted by a program of the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe, the Sexual Assault Response Team (SART). The series was developed by the Clallam Resilience Project, a local consortium of over 50 organizations working together to foster resiliency for our residents, organizations, community, and systems.
