“This rig allows us the flexibility to pick up veterans, move them into permanent housing, and drive them to their required medical appointments. We are absolutely thrilled by this donation,” said Cheri Tinker, director of Sarge’s Place. “If it were not for Bryce Fish, a Sequim Rotarian, seeking out to find the right vehicle, putting Sarge’s Place and Rotary signage on the side of the rig, this would have never happened,” Tinker said.

Sarge’s Place is a transitional housing project for homeless veterans located in Forks. They serve men and women that have been honorably discharged from the U.S. military. For more information, contact 374-5252 or www.sargesplace.com.
