Entries are being sought for the first annual River & Ocean Film Festival, to be held in conjunction with the Rainfest River & Ocean Fair and the Olympic Coast Clean-up on April 19, 2014 in Forks, WA. The event is sponsored by the North Pacific Coast Marine Resource Committee, Washington Sea Grant, North Pacific Coast Lead Entity, Pacific Coast Salmon Coalition, and the West Olympic Council of the Arts.
Entries can be submitted in electronic or DVD formats and must have relevance to natural or human dimensions of the watersheds or marine ecosystems of the west end of the Olympic Peninsula. Submissions must be under 20 minutes (total, including credits) running time and can include stand-alone segments of longer works. Entries must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on April 4, 2014. Please include written information on:
The entry’s title, director and producer
A brief (250 words maximum) description of the entry, its running time and its relevance to the natural or human dimensions of the watersheds or marine ecosystems of the west end of the Olympic Peninsula
The year produced
All entries will be reviewed as they are received by the event’s organizing committee, and selections will be made on a rolling basis.
