Soroptimist International of Olympic Rain Forest (SIORF) will be holding a mini-auction online Friday afternoon, July 23, through noon, Saturday, July 24. The small auction of 23 items will raise additional money for next year’s Soroptimist education scholarships.

All items are planned with summer in mind – wooden planters, a beautiful handmade wall shelf, Adirondack chairs, smoke salmon, hand-made soaps, a basket of summer water and picnic fun, and more. Items must be picked up Saturday afternoon between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. The Facebook group page for the auction will be going up soon.

SIORF scholarships for female high school graduates are supported by SIORF fund-raising, with a base of $5,000 designated in the budget each year. But the club would like to support even more students, so special fundraising is being held in hopes of supporting at least seven students in 2022.

If anyone is interested in donating directly to the SIORF scholarship fund, checks can be mailed to SIORF, PO Box 502, Forks, WA 98331. Please write “SIORF Scholarship Fund” on your check. SIORF is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization.
