Forks High School Counselor Steve Erickson and senior class member Terra Sheriff pose at the high school’s annual Career Day event held Thursday, Nov. 1 in the main hallway of the new school addition. Sheriff assisted Erickson in organizing and running the Career Day program as her senior project. Erickson reported a good flow of students from about 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. including freshmen through seniors and students traveling to Forks from Clallam Bay and other schools. Representatives laid out their promotional wares on 34 tables, providing students first-hand advice on career opportunities ranging  from the Armed Forces and law enforcement to local businesses including Forks Outfitters and Chinook Pharmacy, universities and technical schools, plus Forks Community Hospital, Clallam County PUD and other public enterprises.
