On Monday the Clallam County Auditor’s election office received 671 more ballots for the special election that ends on Tuesday, Feb. 20. As of Monday’s count 10,450 ballots returned.
Voters casting ballots in the Quillayute Valley School District special levy maintenance and operations election has a total of 914 ballots returned, with 25 coming in on Monday, Feb. 11. The return rate is 29.44 percent.
9,536 ballots are for the Sequim School District. 646 came in on Monday. The now have a return rate of 44.31 percent.
Ballots must be postmarked by Tuesday, Feb. 12 or placed in a ballot drop box by 8 p.m. on election day. A ballot box is located in the lobby of Forks City Hall.
Results will be posted at www.clallam.net/elections shortly after 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 12.
Any voter who has lost a ballot can come to the courthouse tomorrow to get a replacement ballot or go to www.myvote.wa.gov and obtain a replacement ballot online, which must be mailed by the postmark cutoff for tomorrow or placed in a ballot drop box by 8 p.m.
