Clallam County Master Gardeners are pleased to offer an amazing spring online plant sale this year. This regularly scheduled sale, which had to be cancelled last year due to Covid 19, is an important fundraiser for the Clallam County Master Gardener Foundation. Proceeds support programs such as: The Woodcock Demonstration Garden in Sequim; the 5th Street Community Garden project in Port Angeles; the YEP (Youth Enrichment Program) outreach to every 2nd grader in Clallam County; the GreenThumb Lecture Series, and the Saturday in the Garden presentations.
The eleven-day event will feature a fantastic selection of locally sourced and Master Gardener grown vegetable and herb starts. Perennials, natives, succulents, houseplants, planters, and new and used garden merchandise will be available also.
Online ordering opens Saturday, May 1 at 8 a.m. and closes Tuesday, May 11 at 4 p.m. For safety, pickup will be by appointment only on either Friday or Saturday, May 14, or 15t at the Woodcock Demonstration Garden, 2711 Woodcock Rd. in Sequim.
There are too many plants to list them all online; so, those who want to add to their online purchases will be welcome to shop at the garden (in accordance with Phase 3 protocols and with all Covid 19 precautions in place) during their scheduled pickup time.
The plant sale link, https://master-gardener-foundation-clallam-county.square.site/, is under construction but will become active on May 1. Check the Master Gardener Foundation website, clallammgf.org for the latest updates.
