STEAM Stations pair learning with fun

Kids can enjoy various science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM) activities with the North Olympic Library System (NOLS). Free hands-on STEAM Stations are offered at Clallam Bay, Forks and Port Angeles libraries.

Winter Break STEAM Stations

Thursday, Jan. 2, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Clallam Bay Branch Library, 16990 Hwy. 112.

At this special session, all ages can explore hands-on activities including straw connectors, a marble run, marshmallow snowflake creations and more.

STEAM for Tweens, Grades 4-6

Tweens can drop in for a fun new project on the second Thursday of each month, Jan. 9 through April 10, 3:30-4:30 p.m. at the Port Angeles Main Library, 2210 S. Peabody St.

Saturday STEAM Stations, Grades K-5

Kids can explore a new activity on the fourth Saturday of each month, Jan. 25 through May 24, 10 a.m.-noon at the Forks Branch Library, 171 S. Forks Ave.
