The Caring Place Center in Forks is temporarily closed due to Covid-19 Virus pandemic; support by phone, email to continue through April 8

In order to comply with Federal and State of Washington regulations and specific direction to slow the spread of the Covid-19 Virus, The Caring Place will temporarily close its center at 481 West E Street in Forks, Wash., but continue to provide telephone support for clients until April 8, 2020.

According to Deborah Dillon, spokesperson for the Center, individuals who need resources during this period will be able to call the Center’s telephone, at 360.374.5010 and leave a message. A member of the Caring Place staff will return your call. “We are dedicated to the health and well-being of both our clients and staff and will take the necessary precautions to limit exposure for all of us,” Dillon said.

Communication may also be through e-mail at info@thecaringplaceforks.org. Updates can also be found on Facebook at “The Caring Place, Forks.”

Dillon said the need to extend the Center’s closure will be re-evaluated on April 7 and depend upon the circumstances surrounding the Covid-19 Virus pandemic.

“The Caring Place provides a wide range of support to pregnant women and their families in the Forks Community, and we will continue to provide essential services through this difficult period of time and the future,” Dillon said.
