Effective date: Immediately through Jan. 2, 2017.

Location: The Bogachiel Hatchery South Pond.

Reason for action: The South Pond is continuing to see fishing activity, and catchable numbers of trout are present in the pond.

WDFW planted trout into South Pond this year that typically would be planted into Wentworth Lake because of general public access restrictions at Wentworth Lake. The pond was initially open to trout fishing through Sept. 15.
