West End Historical Society and Timber Museum to hold monthly meetings at the Rainforest Arts Center

The West End Historical Society and Forks Timber Museum announce that they will combine efforts for their monthly programs. Beginning Nov. 15 and every third Tuesday thereafter, these historical presentations will be brought to you at the Rainforest Arts Center, with the museum conducting a short board meeting at 11 a.m. and a historical program to follow approximately 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

November’s program will be a presentation of some of the Historical Society’s old slide photographs from the late 1800s to mid-1900s. December’s program will feature Lonnie Archibald talking about his new book, “Old Trucks and Gear Jammers,” with a book signing to follow.

Please come join us for these lively presentations and discussions. You are welcome to bring your own items to share and we encourage questions. The museum board meetings and historical presentations are free and open to the public.
