SEQUIM — Clallam County Public Utility District #1 has announced a scheduled power outage for customers on the West End from 11:55 p.m. Saturday, May 16 through 6 a.m. Sunday, May 17.

The outage will allow PUD and Bonneville Power Administration crews to replace a transformer at the Sappho substation.

The outage will affect customers in Forks, Neah Bay, Clallam Bay and the surrounding areas.

According to a press release, affected customers have been notified by automated phone calls.
