Wounded Warriors out from Fort Lewis enjoyed three days on the West End this week, hosted by local fishing guides with an assist from the Forks Elks Club and the Forks Lions Club. Here the soldiers gather at the In Place Restaurant for breakfast before heading out for more steelhead fishing on Friday morning, April 13. Guy Ruble from Fishing Northwest (left side of table in the back) and Tom Mathews from the state Department of Fish & Wildlife (front right) served as hosts at the breakfast. Joining them for breakfast were N. Tucker who served in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, SSG James McTier, a veteran of three tours of duty in Iraq and one in Afghanistan, Sgt. George Clay who served two tours of duty in Iraq, SFC Chad Harreld, Sgt. Bret Di Francesco and Sgt. Roberto Brooks.
