The Washington State Patrol reports that this morning at about 9:50 a.m., a 2012 International dump truck driven by Tingley Walker, age 33, of Sedro Wooley was eastbound on US Hwy 101 at MP 223.5. A second vehicle a 2009 Toyota Tacoma driven by James Murry age 68 of Sequim and a third vehicle a 2007 Chevy Silverado driven by Maryann Beck age 64 of Sequim, were westbound on US Hwy 101 at MP 223.5. The dumptruck left the roadway to the right, overcorrected to the left, overturned, lost its load of rocks, striking the Toyota pickup then coming to rest on top of the Chevy Silverado pickup. The roadway was fully and partially blocked for three hours and 42 minutes.
All drivers and a passenger in the Silverado were transported to Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles.
