Barbara Ellen Chambers was born on November 2, 1939, in Ephrata, Washington to Harry Lee and Dorothy Marshall (Coller). Barbara passed away on April 26, 2023, in Silverdale, Washington at the age of 83. She was a resident of Poulsbo, Washington at the time of her passing. She graduated from Forks High School in Forks, Washington in the class of 1957. She married her loving husband, Kenneth Chambers in Forks, Washington on June 7, 1957. Barbara and her husband were the owners of Chambers Construction Inc for 26 years.

Survivors include her son Chris Chambers (Susan), daughter Shannon Buchan, brother Richard “Mike” Marshall (Michelle) and sister Joanne Wood. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Bryn (Tony), Dana (Derek) and Christopher (Nikki) along with 8 great-grandchildren Jastin, Elisa, Addisyn, Brileigh, Emmersyn, Lucas, Annabelle, and Everly. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Chambers, son-in-law Robin Buchan and sister Marjorie Perkins as well as her parents Harry and Dorothy Marshall.

A memorial service was held on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at The Stone Chapel Poulsbo Mortuary in Poulsbo, Washington from 2-3 pm. A private Internment followed at Cherry Grove Cemetery in Poulsbo, Washington.
