God sends down angels to care and love but unfortunately, he needs them back. She helped her family and anyone who needed it. She was one of his Best. Beloved, Mother, Grandmother, and friend.
Barbara Jean Allen passed peacefully on Holy Thursday, March 29, 2018, at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton, Wa.
She was born September 18, 1932 to Alice Hughes and Gomer Evans a coal miner in Black Diamond, Wa. Barbara graduated from Enumclaw High School. Barbara was one of nine children. She married Henry Celigoy in 1952 the couple had four children. They divorced, she then married the love of her life Robert “Red” Leland Allen on April 4, 1964. They had one more child. They moved to Forks, were married 53 some years until Red passed on. She then moved to Clallam Bay for the last two years near the water until the time of her passing.
Barbara is survived by her sister Lynne Evans Bonnell of California, brothers David Evans of Marysville, WA.,Gomer Evans of Black Diamond, Wa. Her children Henry “Hank” (Glenda) Celigoy, Cathy (Scott) Jewett of Clallam Bay, WA. Alice Celigoy of Forks, Wa, Pam (Rick) Gale of Forks, WA and Thomas Dean Allen of Forks, Wa.
Barbara leaves behind the her most beloved grandchildren, Eric Celigoy, Brian Gale, Wendy Gale, Kasey Ulin, Joshua Celigoy, Jessica Celigoy, Megan Gale, Amanda Allen and Colby Allen. Ten great grandkids and one great-great granddaughter.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Red, her sisters Margaret Evans White, Murial Evans Wing, Debbie Evans Barnes, brothers James Evans and Thomas Evans. Grandson’s Robert Brett Celigoy, Corey Michael Gale, Dustin James Shoemaker.
A celebration of life will be held at the Sekiu Community Center located at 42 Rice St. Sekiu, Washington 98381 for both Barbara and Red Allen, July 21, 2018 at 1 p.m.
