Bill Hurley was born to Lee and Goldie (Vance) Hurley in Grundy, Virgina. He started working as a coal miner as a young man. He met and married Chloa (Charles) in 1962 and had 2 sons. They later divorced in 1982.
He had various jobs throughout his life such as a welder in Indiana, then making his way to Washington State to become a logger and shake rat owning the Hurley Shake Mill in the 80s. He met and married Anna Mae Jones in 1982 they later divorced in 2007.
He had such generousity and was very caring.
His passions in life were motorcycles, guitars, song writing, and spreading the gospel. He raced in flat track and motocross. He loved Harley’s, he rode his chopper into his early 70s and his moto was “LIVE 2 RIDE RIDE 2 LIVE!” Playing his guitar and being a song writer was another of his favorite pastimes. He created a lot of songs. His love for Johnny Cash reflected in his music and what he wore always to be remembered as the “MAN IN BLACK.”

At his request there were no services.
Proceeded in death by his parents and his late wife Chloa.
Survivors: (2 sons) Will (Kristi), Titus (Jessi aka Twyla Ann Bodeen), Grandchildren: Kayla Gould (Kelly), Ben Hurley, Steven Grant Hurley, Brother: Ray (Lynn), and tons of cousins.
