The family of Carolyn Joy (Bond) Watson would like to announce her passing on October 31, 2022, at the age of 80, at her home in Loon Lake, Washington. She was surrounded by her family who love her greatly and will miss her even more.

Carolyn was born October 24, 1942, in the old Arlington Hospital, in Arlington, Washington, to Allan E. and Emma C. (Paasch) Bond. She was the third of three children. She attended and graduated from Granite Falls Schools in Granite Falls, Washington, and graduated from Everett Junior College, School of Nursing.

Carolyn married Ashley S. Watson, also of Granite Falls, on September 22, 1961. They shared 61 years together. They lived in various places in the state of Washington, finally landing in Loon Lake, Washington.

Carolyn is survived by her husband and their four daughters: Theresa (Dan) Hill of Valley, Washington; Dianna (Edward) Craner of San Antonio, Texas; Nancy (Mike) Burks of Valley, Washington; Catherine (Marc) Murray of Valley, Washington. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, brothers (Ed and Ernie) and three grandchildren.

A service for family, friends, and relatives will be held at a later date.
