Dec. 4, 1946-June 21, 2018

Charlene Caldwell passed on June 21, 2018, at the age of 71. She was born to Ira and Viola (Pine) Zaddach on Dec. 4, 1946, in Wyandotte, Michigan. Charlene moved from Wyandotte to Indio, California when she was in kindergarten, living there until middle school when her family moved to Livermore, CA. She graduated from Livermore High School in 1965 and married Kenneth Caldwell on December 17, 1966, they divorced in 1977.

She later graduated from Chabot College with a degree in computer science and worked for many corporations in California before moving to Forks in 1992 and began working for Rayonier.

Charlene was very active with the Forks Old Fashioned 4th of July committee, she was an avid Mariner’s fan. She loved watching her grandkids play sports.

Her survivors include daughters Jeanette Lester, Sherri Hillcar, Michelle Ostroot; grandkids Derrick Brown, Nicole Brown, Tyler Hillcar, Sara Lester, Joey Lester, Madeline Hillcar, Holly Hillcar; sisters Marge Komisar, Bette Moore; brother Ben Davis Jr., and numerous Nieces and nephews and lifelong best friends the “Joyettes” Andrea, Brenda, Jeannie, Kathy, and Sheila.

Charlene is preceded in death by her mother Viola and father Ira, sister Arlene Souza and brother James Davis.
