Ginger Haberman was born in North Seattle on Jan. 5, 1936, to George and Ellen Bell. After graduating from Providence Hospital in 1958, as a nurse, she married Richard Haberman from Ellensburg, WA.
They bought a home in Lynnwood, WA and one year later Richard took a Field Superintendent job for Peninsula Telephone and Telegraph in Neah Bay where he built a phone system. In 1962 they moved to Forks where they raised their family. They both attended St. Anne Catholic Church.
Ginger volunteered a lot of her time to the community with many other caring people of Forks. Special thanks to Donna Kimball, Ruth Kuchan and the many other volunteers at the Clothing Bank that helped her out her last years there.
Ginger is proceeded in death by her husband Richard Haberman of Forks and her brother Gordon Bell if Everett, WA. She is survived by sisters; Jonie Painter (Bill) of Lynnwood, WA and Margaret Hable (Don) of Whidbey Island, WA. Children; Jeff Haberman of Olympia, WA, Rodney Haberman of Forks, WA, Joe Haberman of Hermosa Beach, CA, Roxanne Hovenkotter of Polson, MT.
Grandchildren; Seth, Reed and Halie Hovenkotter of Polson, MT, Stella Haberman of Seattle, WA, Richard Haberman of Hermosa Beach, CA.
Friends are invited to come and remember Ginger Haberman on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 511 FifthAve., Forks, at noon.
Lunch will be served; sandwiches, salads, and dessert. There will be an opportunity to share your memories of Ginger.
