Glen Arthur Price passed away from heart failure on July 27, 2018, at Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton, he was 81 years old. Glen was born Sept. 2, 1936 in Forks, Wa to Ivy (LeVine) and Leo Price. He graduated from Forks High School in 1955 and on June 22, 1976, he married Janice Hallowell.
Glen worked as a logger and was a yarder engineer. He spent 10 plus years working in Alaska and then returned home to Forks. Glen loved to hunt, fish and clam dig and enjoyed hiking and spending time with family. In his younger years he coached T-Ball and was involved with the Boy Scouts.
Glen is survived by his wife Janice; children Tony Imel, Sassy (Price) Leons, Kim (Price) Justus, Kirk Price, Glen Price Jr., Gwen (Price) O’Hara, Rob Price, Mark Carter, Lance Carter, Lori (Carter) Dedman, Shereen Rowland and Jeff Corliss. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Glen’s life was held Sunday, Aug. 5, 2018, at the Forks Elks Lodge, with John Leavitt officiating.
