It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Glen Dale Nicholas Sr., age 81, on December 16, 2017. Glen was born on March 31, 1936 to Don and Pearl Nicholas in Waconda, Washington.
At age 5, he moved with his parents and 8 siblings to the Nicholas farm on Ozette/Hoko Rd., Clallam Bay, Washington.
He took great pride in his work as Head Supervising Mechanic for ITT Rayoneer at Hoko Camp and later in Forks, Washington, and then as Head Supervising Mechanic for Clallam County Road Department in Forks.
Glen is survived by his wife Eva (Rider) Nicholas, his children, Cathy and Bob Little, Glen Jr. (Bud) and Faye Nicholas, Shawn and Tracy Nicholas, Lorri Sandmire and Jody Vignolo, Ritchie and Shauna Sandmire; surviving siblings are: brothers, Lee, Ed and Jim Nicholas and sisters Betty Iverson and Vera Nicholas.
He was blessed with a multitude of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life for Glen will be held on January 20, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Independent Bible Church Banquet Hall, located at 116 E. Ahlvers Rd, Port Angeles.
Those who would like to celebrate Glen’s life with his family are more than welcomed.
