September 24, 1928 – December 15, 2019
Harold Tuttle was born September 24, 1928, to Earl and Rose Tuttle in Chimacum. He passed away at home, in Olympia, on December 15, 2019.
He spent all of his working years, age 16 to 65, in the logging industry in and around the Forks area.
After moving to Olympia he had various jobs doing landscaping and yard work with his trusty John Deere tractor. He had a very strong work ethic. He had many interests through the years: fishing, hunting, raising and showing Arabian horses, gardening, carpentry, and storytelling.
He loved his family, friends, animals, a cold beer and dancing to a good country song.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rose Tuttle; parents; and five brothers.
Harold is survived by his wife, Mavis; children, Mary Jo Ueltzen of Sequim, Jack (Chris) Tuttle of Forks and Harold Tuttle, Jr. of Port Angeles; step-daughters, Michelle (Michael) Pellegrini of Puyallup and Sonja Bildne of Olympia; eight grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren.
A family and close friends Celebration of Life will be held in the spring of 2020.
