Iva Martinez, better known to everyone as Charly, was born on Jan. 25, 1925, in Oroville, WA to Arthur Ivan Pinard and Lois Street Pinard. Charly passed away Aug. 14, 2021, from pulmonary fibrosis.

Before health issues affected her life Charly was a CNA and caregiver. She helped start The Feeding 5000, a free lunch ministry, that still offers weekly meals in Forks every Tuesday.

Charly loved her family deeply.

Charly married Leopoldo Morfin Martinez on June 6, 1986, and is survived by him.

She is also survived by her six children Gerry Knapp, Forks WA, Larry Knapp, CA, Shad Sutton, Idaho, Guadalupe Martinez, Asusena Martinez, and Leopoldo Martinez Jr. of California. she is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Charly will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at the Nazarene Church, 170 Sol Duc Way, at 1 p.m.
