Kay left this world on August 16, 2023. She was born on January 25, 1948, in Olympia, Washington to Ernest and Madeline Hume. She was a loving and caring person, concerned with helping others. Kay was an avid reader and she loved being around her grandchildren and helping care for them.
She loved people, good food, and experiencing new things. She loved traveling and sitting in the sun. During her career, she performed a wide variety of services, including aiding victims of domestic violence, managing the Pacific Inn in Forks, and as the travel coordinator for the Quileute tribe.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Janet Dinwoodie, brother Duane Hume, sister Rae Hanks, sister Iona Hume, and brother Donald Hume.
Kay leaves behind her loving husband Jerry Sullivan of 43 years, daughter Bobbi Jean Johnson (Jeff), son James Dean Vinson (Talitha), sisters Joy Hume and Sue McHenry, brother Ernest Hume, grandchildren Melissa Hoban (Sean), Ryan Hochhalter (Kaylie) and Jakob Vinson, and great-grandchildren Jaidyn and Foster Hoban, and Melanie Hochhalter. At her request, no services will be held. Kay will be missed by all.
