Linda Jean Boyd, beloved daughter of the late Marguerite and Henry Hirschel, was born in Port Townsend, WA on Feb. 3, 1952, and went on to the spirit world on Sept. 1, 2022, surrounded by family and friends.

Linda graduated from Western Washington University with a Master’s degree. She was a special education teacher for 43 years and taught others to become special education teachers. She spent most of her time and dedication in Forks, Washington, while commuting to and from her residence in Port Angeles.

Linda’s greatest joy in life was the birth of her son, Ryan. They spent many wonderful years taking adventure trips together. Linda had many hobbies, but she especially loved knitting. Linda is survived by her son Ryan Boyd, ex-husband, (Dean) Rachael Boyd, and brothers Raymond Weigel and Bruce Hirschel.

Her first husband, Brad Hitt, and her oldest brother, William Coburn, preceded her in death. No formal funeral service is planned. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
